	OUSTANDING FOLLOWER OF ACADEMICIAN N.N.VOROZHTSOV For everyone who has the honour to belong to the school of Academician N.N.Vorozhtsov, the beginning of June is a special time. June, 6, 2006 marks 99 years from Nikolai Nikolaevich's birth date, and June, 9 marks the 75th anniversary of his outstanding disciple and follower Academician Valentin Afanasievich Koptiug.
	IN THE FIELD OF CARBOCATION CHEMISTRY Scientific activities of Academician V.A.Koptiuga (1931-1997) covered basic research in the field of organic chemistry, the works in chemical informatics and ecology.
	IT’S POSSIBLE TO IMITATE BUT DIFFICULT TO REPEAT… January, 10, 1997 Valentin Afanasievich Koptiug's heart has suddenly stopped. But was it so unexpected?
