	THE SIBERIAN BRANCH OF THE RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES IS 50 YEARS OLD Report of the SB RAS Chairman Academician N.L.Dobretsov at the solemn meeting in the House of Scientists devoted to the semicentenial anniversary of the SB RAS.
	THE М.А. LAVRENTIEV PRIZE WINNERS OF 2007 Within the framework of the solemn meeting of celebration the 50th anniversary of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences held June, 1, 2007 at the House of Scientists of the Novosibirsk Academgorodok, delivery of the M.A.Lavrentev Prizes for 2007 has taken place.
	THE F.P.SAVARENSKI PRIZE The Presidium of the RAS has decided to award Doctor Sc.(Geology and Mineralogy) Stepan Lvovich Shvartsev (the Tomsk Branch of the Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics of the SB RAS) with the F.P.Savarenski Prize of 2007.
	ACADEMICIAN G. MARCHUK: «TO REMEMBER THE PIONEERS» Academician G.Marchuk has devoted his speech at the solemn meeting on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the SB RAS to the start positions of the Siberian Branch, the initial stage of the Academgorodok construction.

	THE CHETAEV CONFERENCE From June, 12 to June, 16 the International Chetaev Conference is held in Irkutsk devoted to the 105th anniversary from the birthdate of outstanding scientist in the field of mechanics, who has made fundamental contribution to the solution of the problems of stability theory and analytical mechanics, the follower and continuator of the scientific ideas of A.M.Lyapunov.
	INTERNATIONAL "FIELDS" OF HISTORIANS The research platform of the Institute of Mongolology, Buddhology and Tibetology of the SB RAS covers the most part of the Central Asia, also including the territory of Internal Asia where Mongol-languaged peoples of Russia, Mongolia, China and Tibet live.
