	FLOWERS FOR MATHEMATICIANS Certainly, not only flowers were presented to mathematicians September, 18 at the solemn meeting in the renewed conference hall of the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics of the SB RAS. In this day of anniversary celebration on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Institute, Russian conference «Mathematics in modern world» began to work.
