	WHEN AN ARCHEOLOGIST STAYS AT HOME The middle of August is the height of the field season. This busy period namely covers a favorite holiday, non-official but strictly kept: August, 15, the Day of archeologist.
	FROM HUN TIME UP TO RUSSIAN TRAILBLAZERS On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of founding the NSU Laboratory of Humanitarian research.
	THE ROAD TOWARDS A TEMPLE Tara is one of the oldest Russian cities of Siberia founded in 1594. In the summer of 2007, archeological expedition of the Omsk Branch of the IAEt of the SB RAS carried out archeological research of the prospective site of the biggest and beautiful Nikolski cathedral of Tara.
	PRESIDENTIAL PLENIPOTENTIARY VISITING TOMSK July, 29 Tomsk was visited by the Plenipotentiary of the RF President in the Siberian Federal District Anatoli Kvashnin.
	SB RAAS PLANNING TO CONSTRUCT AGRO-TECHNOPARK At the joint session of the Coordination Council for agricultural policy and the foodstuff of Inter-regional association «Siberian Agreement» and the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences held August, 5 a number of projects directed on the stimulation of dynamical development of Siberian agriculture has been considered.
	«WANDERING» SCHOOL IN KHAKASSIA From June, 26 to July, 2 the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the SB RAS (Novosibirsk) together with the Katanov Khakass State University (Abakan) and the Russian Humanities scientific foundation held the 2nd International summer school of young ethnosociologists «Traditions and sociocultural transformations: theory and technique of ethnosocial research».
	Academician E.Krugliakov: «THE FEARS ABOUT THE OCCURRENCE OF A BLACK HOLE ARE VASTLY EXAGGERATED» The launching of Large Hadron Collider, the biggest and the most expensive research installation in the world planned by the beginning of July - for technical reasons is postponed till the autumn.
