	THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF REPUBLIC BYELORUSSIA In January days (January, 22 to 24) the delegation of the Russian Academy of Sciences participated in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB).

	THERE, WHERE LIVE EVENS Within the framework of the academic series "Monuments of folklore of peoples of Siberia and the Far East" prepare for the edition of volume of Even's folklore. The volume of a material available at researchers is rather great, but is collected only in three areas of residing Evens: in the Magadan area, in area Ohotskom and on Kolyma. Among of Evens, living in other areas of Siberia, record of folklore practically was not conducted.

	ON THE OCCASION OF 90TH ANNIVERSARY OF M.P.TSAPENKO Till this famous date, January, 12, 2009 Michael Petrovich Tsapenko, Honored Scientific Worker of the Russian Federation, one of the founders of the Institute of Automation and Electrometry of the USSR Academy of Sciences, has not lived only three weeks (died 22.12.08).
