	THE SB RAS SCIENTIFIC AND SCIENCE ORGANIZING ACTIONS IN JUNE
	SEBERIAN VOYAGE OF THE "RusNanoTech" The visit of the delegation of the Russian Nanotechnologies Corporation headed by the director general, the chairman of the State corporation board A.B.Chubais to Novosibirsk and Tomsk was a remarkable event of the last week.
	THE SIBERIAN BRANCH: A POTENTIAL SOURCE OF PROMISING AND INTERESTING PROJECTS From May, 20 to May, 22 the Novosibirsk was visited by the delegation of "The Russian Nanotechnologies Corporation " (RusNano) State corporation. Before the visit the head of the Examination of the RusNano professor Sergei Kaliuzhny answered some questions.
	"WE ARE AT THE STARTING POINT" Many guests of the Academgorodok of a different level from governmental ones up to scientific delegations had a good tradition to visit the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis of the SB RAS, the largest Institute in the field of catalysis in the world. Did not become exception and visit to our city of head "RusNanoTech".

	THE SB RAS PRESIDIUM MEETING On May, 20 the next session of Presidium of Branch has taken place.
	THE PROJECT OF THE CONCEPT IS APPROVED May, 27 the RF Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Siberian Federal District Anatoli Kvashnin held an expanded meeting in the videoconference mode where the project "The concepts of the system formation for steady development of small and medium scale business in the RF subjects of of the Siberian Federal District" was discussed.
	THE AGREEMENT ON STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP May, 27 an Agreement on strategic partnership between the "Kuzbass Technopark" Public Corporation and the Kemerovo State University has been signed.
	SPRING EXHIBITIONS In April International exhibitions and forums were held in Moscow where the institutes of the SB RAS took an active part.
	"INNOVATIONS, INVESTMENTS, PROGRESS" IN DIFFICULT ECONOMIC CONDITIONS The heading of this material became an original slogan of the Kuzbass International Forum for technologies transfer held May, 19 to 22 in Kemerovo.
	INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE "AtomEco-2009" From October, 29 to October 30, 2009 an International exhibition and conference "AtomEco-2009": the fair of innovational projects in the field of the radioactive and industrial wastes treatment, waste nuclear fuel processing, environmental rehabilitation of polluted territories and man-caused deposits and dumps processing" will be held in Moscow.
	CLUSTERS: FROM NONCLASSICAL COMPOUNDS TO NOVEL MATERIALS In modern chemistry the term "cluster", "cluster compound" is used most often. This definition originates from English "cluster" - a swarm, an aggregation, and is used to denote unique chemical compounds containing metal–metal bonds.
	HIGHER SCHOOL INNOVATIONS: EXPERIENCE AND PROBLEMS The rector of Irkutsk State Technical University, Doctor Sc. (Engineering) Professor I.M.Golovnykh spoke about it at the session of the IrSC Presidium of the SB RAS.
	THE "PRIBAIKALSKI" NATIONAL PARK: THE PROBLEMS OF LAND TENURE The authorities of the Angara Territory are going to determine external borders of the Pribaikalski National Park as soon as possible, to carry out a prompt inventory taking of its lands and to ratify the regulation on their special regime.

	CULTURAL CENTER AT THE ACADEMGORODOK Not long ago there was a powerful network of trade-union libraries in the Novosibirsk as well as all over the Russia. There were methodical centers, good financing, and the staff of professional librarians. However with new economic policy the network of trade-union libraries has distinctly thinned out, and in some regions and it has absolutely disappeared.
	LIBRARY AS A GIFT TO THE INSTITUTE Professor D.M.Shesternev has transferred his scientific library as gift to the Institute of Natural Resources, Ecology and Cryology of the SB RAS.
	READING IS THE WORK OF A SOUL Today there are more than 150 thousand libraries in Russia. But only 14 years ago a Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on the establishment of the All-Russian Day of Libraries was issued. This day, May, 27, 1795 the first Imperial public library in Russia has been opened.
	FROM THE HISTORY OF THE NATIONAL INTELLECTUALS There are only a handful of the scientific dynasties stepped already to the fifth generation as well as the books devoted to such dynasties, especially if the author of such a book is one of the chairmen of the Siberian Branch, who are only five for the more than semicentenial SB RAS history.
	A BOOK ABOUT ACADEMICIAN L.V.KIRENSKY The publishing house of the SB RAS has published a book dated for the 100th anniversary from the birthday of Leonid Vasilievich Kirenski, an outstanding physicist – magnetologist, substantially contributed to the development of Academic science and University education in Siberia.
	THE AWARD FOR PROFESSIONALISM The Publishing House of the SB RAS is the winner of the competition "The Best books of the year".
	WHERE WE SHALL SPEND 100 BILLION? A "scientific cafe" has taken place in Krasnoyarsk pretentiously titled "Nanotechnologies: Where to spend 100 billions?" There gathered venerable scientists from the Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS and the Siberian Federal University and the youth from those who only makes a trial of strength in the field of obtaining new knowledge.
	TO GLANCE AT THE MIRROR… In the "Mirror" drama school of Tomsk they are engaged in an interesting direction of the modern theatrical art, a so-called plastic drama in which the stage action is presented by means of dances.
