	THE SB RAS PRESIDIUM MEETING
	BIONANOTECHNOLOGIES IN THE INTERESTS OF MANKIND June, 10 to 14 the Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine of the SB RAS has held a conference "Chemical biology: fundamental problems of bionanotechnology".
	THE PROSPECTS OF INFORMATICS SYSTEMS At the Small hall of the House of Scientists of the SB RAS during fourth days an International conference "Prospects of informatics systems" - "PSI-09" is held.
	THE SKY ABOVE A CITY Research of the influence of socio-economic factors on the natural environment is traditional subjects for many institutes of the Siberian Branch. An example of such work is ecological planning of model territories of the Baikal Region.

	THE SILVER OF EUROPE – for the 45th anniversary of the ICMMG of the SB RAS May, 25, 2009 the silver medal in the weightlifting championship of Europe among veterans was won by Candidate Sc. (Engineering) Petr Kalantaev the researcher of Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics of the SB RAS, the master of sports who has been 60 on May, 28 2009.
