	POLISH DELEGATION IN THE NOVOSIBIRSK SCIENTIFIC CENTER Polish delegation headed by the Polish Senate Marshal Bogdan Borusewicz, has visited Novosibirsk on September 9-10. Their program included also visiting Academgorodok.
	THE SB RAS–TOHOKU UNIVERSITY – MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION A representative delegation from the Tohoku University (Japan, Sendai) has visited the Novosibirsk Scientific Center.

	HOW TO MAKE LIVING IN SIBERIA PRESTIGIOUS More than 1,5 thousand persons have participated in the activities of the VI Baikal International Economic Forum having been held in Irkutsk from September 6 through September 9. These days the capital of Angarsk Kray was visited by representatives of 17 countries of the world and all regions of Siberia and the Far East.

	ABOUT WORLD POWER ENGINEERING OF THE XXI CENTURY From August 30 through September 2 in the Melentiev Energy System Institute of the SB RAS, within the framework of the Baikal economic forum, the incorporated symposium of two conferences has been held - «Power of Russia in the XXI century: strategy of development - east vector» and «Power cooperation in Asia: what follows after crisis?» (АЕС-2010).
	FROM KARYOTYPE - TO FULL GENOME SEQUENCING The International Conference «Karyosystematics of Invertebrate Animals» has been held in August in Academgorodok.
	NEW PROSPECTS FOR HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS The XIII International seminar «New Prospects for High Energy Physics» has been held at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics of the SB RAS from September 1 through September 5.
	YOUTH SCHOOL AS A GENERATOR OF IDEAS The Press Conference summarizing the results of just completed scientific school of molecular and cellular biology, biotechnology and molecular aspects of fundamental medicine, has taken place at the Exhibition center of the SB RAS on September 3.
	COOPERATION TO PROVIDE SAFETY The Coordinating Council for Scientific-Technical Cooperation between a Research and Development Association «Special equipment and communications» of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the SB RAS have hosted the Session on September 7-8 at the Novosibirsk Scientific Center.
	PLACER DEPOSITS The XIV International Meeting on Geology of Placer Deposits and Weathering Crusts has completed its work at the V.S. Sobolev Institute of Geology and Mineralogy of the SB RAS on September 10.
	SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED IDEA The All-Russian Youth School with the International Participation «Magnetic Resonance in Chemical and Biological Physics» has been opened at the V.S. Sobolev Institute of Geology and Mineralogy of the SB RAS on September 6.
	THE FIRST SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL EXHIBITION «YOUTH TO BARNAUL-2010» The first Exhibition of Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth has taken place in Barnaul on the basis of the Institute for Water and Environmental Problems of the SB RAS on September 1-2.

	THE PRESIDENT AND THE FIRST LADY OF FRANCE IN NOVOSIBIRSK Novosibirsk - in anticipation of meetings with ballet dancers from France. And we want to return our readers to the events which occurred 44 years ago. On June 24, 1966 the Novosibirsk centre of science was visited by the President of the French Republic general Charles de Gaulle.
