	NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR CANCER DIAGNOSTICS The winner in the nomination «The Best Innovation Project» has been announced during the Zvorykin Prize handling ceremony in the Moscow region village of Skolkovo on December 14. This time our fellow countryman Vladislav Mileiko, the graduate of the Novosibirsk State University, nowadays - the post-graduate student of the Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, has become the owner of the national premium of one million roubles.
	SUCCESS OF FUTURE SCIENTISTS The All-Russian competition of projects and developments in the field of IT-BREAKTHROUGH information technologies has started in June 2010. More than four thousand competitors have taken participation in it.
	MECHANISMS FOR STRESS MANAGEMENT Experts predict that with every passing year the number of people slipping into depression will increase. Therefore searches of variants, capable to suspend the process and, moreover, to relieve a person and mankind of the symptoms of illness, are carried out in many academic societies.
	WEEK OF ACADEMICIAN KOPTYUG V.A. IN SOFIA «Week of Academician Koptyug V.A.», including the exhibition stand «Koptjug V.A. - the 20th century great humanist» has taken place in the National Museum «Earth and People» in Sofia, from 1 through 7 November.
	THE NOTICE ON GRANT COMPETITION «CARBON NАNОTUBES - THE UNOPENED OPPORTUNITIES» Applications for competition are accepted till February 7, 2011.
	RESULTS OF COMPETITION HAVE BEEN SUMMED UP The Videoconference on summarizing competition results of the Siberian Branch of the RAS and the National Scientific Council of Taiwan (NSC) has taken place on December 24.
	THE FUTURE IS FORMED TODAY The academic science has always showed care of rising generation. The school commission at presidiums of the centers worked even in the hardest years. Such a commission has many years been operating also at Presidium ISC of the SB RAS.
