	CONGRATULATIONS ON THE DAY OF ASTRONAUTICS
	SPACE ANNIVERSARY Now about half a century ago, when on April 12, 1961 at 9:07 a.m. Moscow time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, the Vostok carrier rocket took off with the first-ever manned spacecraft, on board of which there was a Senior Lieutenant of Military-Air Forces of the USSR Yu.A.Gagarin.
	SB RAS – Information Satellite Systems JSC: STRATEGIC UNION An Exit Session of Presidium of the SB RAS together with the JSC Information Satellite Systems named after Academician M.F. Reshetnev of Federal Space Agency, has been held in Zheleznogorsk town of Krasnoyarsk Region on March 30-31, 2011.
	CONTRIBUTION OF SIBERIAN SCIENTISTS INTO THE SPACE PROGRAM On April 6, the Exhibition Centre of SB RAS, has become a center of events devoted to the 50th anniversary from the date of Yury Alekseevich Gagarin's space flight.
	"LOLA" FOR "SOUZ - APOLLO" In July 1975, the whole world watched over the first in history of mankind joint flight of the Soviet and American spacecrafts under the program "Souz-Apollon". The ships have carried out rendezvous and docking, having formed a uniform orbital complex. For more than three years scientists, engineers, technicians and workers of the USSR and the USA, had been hard at work solving difficult organizational, technical and human problems. The staff of the Novosibirsk Institute of Organic Chemistry of SB RAS has also participated in this work.
	EVERYTHING IS SEEN FROM ABOVE Implementation of a large-scale project has been started a year ago at the Siberian Branch: based on information resources of the Institute of Computational Technologies of SB RAS and the infrastructure of the Western Siberia Regional Center for Receiving and Processing Satellite Data, the complex on monitoring of natural and social-economic processes in real time mode is being developed. The work has not been completed yet, but some results are already available.
	RESEARCH EXPERIMENT IN SPACE It has taken more than one year to the Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics of the SB RAS to conduct the space experiment "Plasma - Progress" – a research of impact of liquid propellant rockets on ionosphere.
	WINDOW BREAKDOWN… Since 1961 the Institute of Hydrodynamics of SB RAS has been involved into the space researches.
	EPOCH OF GENERATION On March 24-25, the Tomsk Scientific Centre of the SB RAS has received the Exit Session of RAS Council on coordination of activity of regional branches and regional scientific centers of the RAS. A problem of innovation activity based on integration of academic and higher educational institution sciences has been the issue of discussion.
	MEDALS - TO SIBERIANS Winners of Premium of the Russian Academy of Sciences for the young scientists of RAS, other establishments and organizations of Russia, and for students of higher educational institutions of Russia.
	ROLE OF SIBERIAN SCIENTISTS IN LAUNCHING LITHIUM PRODUCTION Researches on obtaining of initial lithium compounds from various type of lithium raw material and their use for synthesis of new materials is one of the oldest trends in researches of the Institute of Solid State Chemistry and Mechanochemistry of the SB RAS.
	V.A.KOPTYUG MEMORIAL LIBRARY IN NOVOSIBIRSK ACADEMGORODOK Academician Valentin Afanasyevich Koptyug, if still living, would be 80 on June 9 this year.
