	MEETINGS AT THE EMBASSY OF THE SIBERIAN FEDERAL DISTRICT On the eve of the Russian Science Day, February 5, Plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District V.A. Tolokonsky has had a meeting with the heads of the largest academic institutions of Siberia.
	NEW CHANCE TO DEVELOP BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES A solemn event - the opening of a new building of the Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine of SB RAS has taken place in Novosibirsk Academgorodok on February 6.
	“VALLEY OF MIRACLES” FOR INVESTORS The meeting of Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Siberian Federal District V.A. Tolokonsky with the authorities of the Siberian Branch of RAS, dedicated to the creation of the Siberian center of science, education and high technologies, has taken place at the House of Scientists on February 6.
	GOLD MEDAL OF CHINESE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES - TO IRKUTSK SCIENTIST Academician G.A. Zherebtsov has been awarded the Gold Medal of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for his great contribution to the development of international cooperation.
	BEAUTY OF THE WORLD OF MATHEMATICS The opening of International interactive exhibition “IMAGINARY. As viewed by mathematics” has taken place at the House of Scientists of the SB RAS on February 5. It has been dedicated to the unique world of mathematics and arranged to coincide with the Days of Russian Science and the Year of Germany in Russia. It has been held under the motto “Together We Build the Future”.
	DAYS OF SCIENCE AT THE IPGG OF SB RAS Events, dedicated to the Day of Russian Science, have been held at the Trofimuk Institute of Petroleum-Gas Geology and Geophysics of the SB RAS on February 5.
	HELLO, YOUNG AND FAMILIAR TRIBE! This week marked the Days of Russian Science in all regional branches of the Russian Academy of Sciences and research centers. The Tyumen Research Center of SB RAS was no exception.
	BAIKAL DAY IN MOSCOW The Day of Baikal has taken place at the festival “Golden Turtle” in Moscow on February 3.
	BAIKAL MUSEUM WILL MARK ITS 20th ANNIVERSARY WITH CONFERENCE On August 25-28, the Baikal Museum will host the 2-nd International Conference “Actual problems of the scientific museums” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Baikal Museum of the Irkutsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of RAS.
	TO SUPPORT AGRICULTURAL COOPERATION A regional conference on agricultural cooperation has been held in Yakutsk on January 30. The event took place as part of the activities planned for 2013, which was announced by the President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) the Year of Village.
	WILL THE VOLCANOES OF ASIA WAKE UP? Recently TV viewers of Mongolia saw the documental film “Will the volcanoes of Mongolia wake up?”. And we hope, that it will be shown by the Irkutsk TV broadcast during Science Days.
	“TOGETHER WE MAKE SCIENCE” A holiday with such a name has been arranged by young researchers of the Irkutsk Scientific Center.
	“SCIENCE FOR CHILDREN” The Youth Volunteer Project with such a name has been developed on the basis of the Novosibirsk State University in order to promote scientific knowledge among high school students.
	IN THE MIRROR OF STATISTICS Over half a century ago Novosibirsk developed an enhanced reputation of science city. Is the reputation still relevant today?

	VIII LAVRENTIEV CHESS MEMORIAL From November 18 through December 22, the Chess Club has hosted a regular Lavrentiev Memorial. The beginning of tournament has traditionally been dated to November 19 - the birthday of the founder of Academgorodok.
