	NEW CENTER IS OPEN FOR COMPETITION About a year ago, the Presidium of SB RAS has decided to form the “Research Industrial Center of Coal Complete Processing” in the frames of KemSC in cooperation with Public Unitary Enterprise “Semicoking Plant”. After some organizational issues were negotiated with the regional administration and after the numerous consultations with the Institutes of SB RAS, the institutional arrangements and the membership of the founders of the Center has been agreed.
	ATTENTION, THE ECOLOGICAL WORKSHOP Kemerovo Scientific Center of SB RAS, regional administration, State Environment Protection Committee, Ecological Foundation, Kuzbass State Technical University, regional organization of Russian National “Green Cross”, and Kuzbass Institute of Economy and Law organize the workshop on the problems of continuous ecological education on May 17-18, 2000. The title of the seminar is “Regional Problems of the Ecological Education on the eve of XXI Century”.
