The Novosibirsk State University is conducting among colleges of Akademgorodok. It was created and built almost simultaneously with the first institutes of the Novosibirsk Akademgorodok. The University quickly joined the number of the country’s and world leading educational institutions. On the basis of the University, with participation of the leading scientists of the Centre, the now well-known scheme of continuous preparation of high-skilled specialists was developed. PMS	The idea of creation of Physico-Mathematical School at NSU was embodied in life by the founder of Akademgorodok Mikhail Alekseevich Lavrentiev. The full title of school is: The Specialized Educational and Scientifical Centre of The Physico-Mathematical and Chemico-Biological Profile. The talented guys from all places behind the Ural mountains learn here and in further act in NSU. The professors, candidates and doctors of sciences from NSU teach in PMS.
