Biological field station «Ivano-Arakhleyskiye lakes»

The station is located on the Arakhley lake, one of the chain of 17 lakes in the valley between the Yablonovy and Osinovy mountain ridges.
The station is involved in research, education and preservation activities related to hydrobiology. Biotic communities available at the field station are temperate deciduous forests, temperate grasslands, lentic waters, lotic waters, wetlands.
The following equipment is available at the field station:
some basic chemistry instruments, fishing nets, motor boats, thermostat, photo-colorimeter, electric stoves, etc.
There are rooms for 5 laboratories. There are some bedrooms: 3 rooms for 1 person, 2 rooms for 3 persons, 2 rooms for 4 persons. Those who live at the station cook meals themselves. Food is brought from the town. There is a small kitchen with two electric stoves and a refrigerator. There is a telephone at the station.
