    History of Herbarium and istructions for creating of herbarium
      Adam White...His unfinished botanical scrapbook
    The uncompleted scrapbook, which is presented here, was described by Boivin (1980) as containing at the beginning a series of European specimens with minimum data and at the end a series of J.D. Hooker collections from the Falklands, Cape Horn, Kerguelen, and other Southern localities from his collecting during the Antarctic Voyage of the Erebus and Terror of 1839-43.
      Antonius Münchenberg's Herbarium vivum
    The oldest dated collection of plants at the Swedish Museum of Natural History is that of Antonius Christophori Münchenberg, a set of native and cultivated plants mainly collected in Gotland 1701 and 1702. Most plants, about 300 species, were collected in Central Gotland, where Münchenberg served as a private teacher in a vicarage.
      Australian National Herbarium, the Fern Pages
    This resource, compiled at the Australian National Herbarium, is under development and is intended to include information about the taxonomy and distribution of Australian and regional ferns. A complet survey of Australian ferns, with very nice pictures.
      Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum Berlin-Dahlem
    The history of the Berlin Herbarium began in 1818 with the purchase of the collection of Carl Ludwig Willdenow. This contained more than 20,000 plant species. Willdenow had been director of the Berlin Botanic Garden until 1812.

    The bryophyte and lichen collection of the University of Florida Herbarium (FLAS) is located at 379 Dickinson Hall in the Florida Museum of Natural History on the UF campus.
      C.E. Moss Herbarium
    The C.E. Moss Herbarium of the School of Animal, Plant and Environmental Sciences of the University of the Witwatersrand, is named in honour of Professor Charles Edward Moss, the first professor of botany at the University.
