In September the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences summarized the results of the 1998 contest for young scientists and university students. The list of the winners includes Siberians also.
NOVOSIBIRSK AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY
Coming into the next millennium calls for immediate action or, at least, for serious contemplation. In Novosibirsk it took the shape of a scientific and practical conference (21st to 24th of September). The conference was called "Novosibirsk at the Turn of the 21st Century: prospects of Development and Opportunities of Investments" and was accompanied by an-exhibition-market "Investment Potentials of the City of Novosibirsk at the Turn of the 21st Century".
