	CENTER OF NOVEL MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES OF THE SB RAS The beginning of its activities of the Center of novel medical technologies of the Siberian Branch of the RAS originates since November, 2000. Two long years were spent for the decision of organizational questions, repair work in the former Children`s building of the SB RAS Central Clinic assigned for the Center. In February, 2003 the Center has accepted the first patients.
	PHENOMENOLOGY OF MALIGNANT NEOPLASMS New approaches to the problem of cancer have been recently considered at the session of the Presidium of the Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center.
	SCIENCE AND HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS: SIDES OF COOPERATION At the Irkutsk Scientific Center has passed joint session has been held of the Presidiums of the IrKSC of the SB RAS and the West-Siberian SC of the SB RAMS with participation of the rectors of HEIs of the Irkutsk Region, heads of the research-and-production centers, representatives of regional and city administrations.

	SUCCESS OF THE SIBERIAN SCHOOL OF PROGRAMMING The First Open Cup on Programming has taken place in April, prepared by the Educational Center of the CBOSS Association (Moscow) and the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
