	THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE IRKUTSK CHEMISTS The Irkutsk Institute of Organic Chemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences (nowadays the Institute of Chemistry of the SB RAS) was founded November, 29, 1957.
	THE PRESIDENTIAL PLENIPOTENTIARY VISITED THE TOMSK SCIENTIFIC CENTER The Institute of Strength Physics and Material Science of the SB RAS was visited by the RF President’s Plenipotentiary in the Siberian Federal District Anatoli Kvashnin. The purpose of visit Acquaintance with the most successful developments of Tomsk scientists in the field of nanotechnologies and the successes in the real implementation them was the purpose of the visit.

The participants of the international Himalaya expedition- Eugeni Kovalevski, Eugeni Karpitski, Vasili Chesnokov, Edward Merker and Nikita Martiushev have come back to Tomsk.
	IN MEMORY OF ALIK TULSKI December, 8 to 9 the 46th ski competition for the Prizes of A.Tulski memory has taken place in the Academgorodok. 112 skiers of Novosibirsk, Berdsk, Linevo, Kiselevsk, Koltsovo and the Academgorodok have taken part in the competition.
