	ACADEMICIAN G.A.TOLSTIKOV IS 75 Congratulation of the SB RAS.
	THE FIRST VICE-PREMIER AT THE OMSK SCIENTIFIC CENTER January, 15 the First vice-chairman of the RF Government S.B.Ivanov during the working trip to Omsk Region has visited the Institute of Hydrocarbons Processing of the Siberian Branch of the RAS and the Omsk Regional shared device center of the SB RAS.
	SCIENTIFIC EVENTS IN FEBRUARY
	THE PROGRAM OF THE DAYS OF RUSSIAN SCIENCE IN THE SIBERIAN BRANCH OF THE RAS The celebratory actions devoted to the Day of Russian Science will take place in all the scientific centers of the SB RAS during the period from February, 4 to February, 8. Open days will be held at the institutes. Everybody interested are invited.
	ON-DEMAND PROJECTS GROWING THE SPEED Scientific session of the SB RAS Presidium held on January, 10 has been devoted to the results of the on-demand projects fulfillment in 2007.
	SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT OF THE WORKING OUT AND REALIZATION OF THE PROGRAM DOCUMENTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SIBERIAN PRODUCTIVE FORCES The report of Academician V.V.Kuleshov within the framework of the project.
	SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT OF THE WORKING OUT AND REALIZATION OF THE PROGRAM DOCUMENTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SIBERIAN PRODUCTIVE FORCES Academician A.E.Kontorovich has dwelt on some large-scale State projects in the development of those the Institutes of the SB RAS actively participated.
	THE RESULTS OBTAINED ARE INSPIRING The on-demand integration project «Chemical and biochemical reactors and devices based on the novel principles of the processes intensification» includes ten blocks. It is aimed at the creation of essentially new chemical and biochemical reactors for the intensification of some physical and chemical processes due to intense physical impact on matter.
	VIDEOCONFERENCES CEASING TO BE THE EXOTIC The on-demand integration project No 3 «The development of multimedia utilities in the data transmission networks of the SB RAS» is aimed at the development of the Siberian Branch infrastructure, and all the scientific centers of the SB RAS participate in it.
	REMOTE DIAGNOSTICS USING NEW PRINCIPLES The report on the project «The Development and creation of the system of remote diagnostics based on optic information and semiconductor technologies for the research of multiphase reacting flows».
	THE QUEEN OF ALL SCIENCES The project No 5, carried out on demand of the Presidium of the SB RAS «Computation methods, algorithms and their programming realization for solving the problems of continuum mechanics, based on modern formalization thermodynamics and on non-traditional problem definition of linear algebra».
	WORLD SCALE INSTALLATION «Development and manufacturing of the second-order free electron laser» is the on-demand project No 6 SB RAS Presidium.
	MULTISILICON FOR SOLAR ENERGETICS The major prospective material for the manufacture of solar cells is multisilicon. The technologies for its obtaining are the topic of an on-demand project of the SB RAS.
	WILD AIR SHOWERS of YAKUTIA The project for 2007-2009 «Modernization of the Yakut of wide air showers (WAS) installation» is carried out by the forces of the Shafer Institute Cosmophysical Researches and Aeronomy of the SB RAS (Yakutsk).
	ECOLOGY OF THE ACADEMGORODOK: NO END OF WORK The purpose of the on-demand project «The dynamics of the Academgorodok ecosystems: the results of semicentenial operation» consists in revealing the laws of distribution of biodiversity and the NSC ecosystems dynamics as well as vindication of environmentally comprehensible approaches and technologies.
	THE PROJECTS ON HEAT-POWER ENGINEERING ARE EXECUTED COMPLETELY Professor V.I.Terekhov (the Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics of the SB RAS) has presented six projects concerning heat-and-power engineering coordinated with the chairmen of regional scientific centers and the Presidium of the SB RAS. All the scientific centers and the a lot of the institutes of the Siberian Branch participate in these on-demand projects as executives.
