Software for data processing of lidar observation over Tomsk

The software is based on the expert estimation of lidar data and results of their processing. At the first stage, information on measurement conditions is input to the software. Then, the algorithm of experimental data processing is chosen, and justified criteria are used to estimate the utility of the data and to determine the accuracy with which, and altitude range in which, the posed problem is solved. The efficiency of the software depends on how dynamic arrays are used to exchange data between separate problem-oriented subroutines and graphic interface that visualizes data processing steps and, in particular, the implementation of the algorithm of non-uniform lidar data smoothing. Written in Delphi language, the software is readily modified: a provision is made for rapid widening and change of the range of the problems solved without serious alteration of initial programs. The report describes the method of processing of lidar sensing data.
