Electronic atlas of damage realization in cells of species used in cytogenetic monitoring

Bioindication of damages in species inhabiting ecologically unfavourable regions presents great difficulty under exposure to anthropogenic factors being similar to background values. One of the most sensitive tissues used in biomonitoring is hemopoietic tissue which allows analysis of variation in the level of cells with cytogenetic injuries owing to high proliferative activity. However, different dependence on the season of a hemopoiesis pattern and the population structure of phyllogenetically different model species of animals raises a problem of comprehensive study of heterogeneous cell populations. High regenerative ability of hemopoietic cells seldom allows researchers to record injuries of this tissue on the basis of one test (e.g. micronuclear test) in small animal samples. Different schemes, enabling detection of assumed mechanisms of developing certain cytogenetic signs of damage and their taking into consideration in dynamics, are proposed in the electronic book of photoes of mollusk, – amphibian – and murine rodent cells designed by us and steadily filled up. Frequently occurred forms of pre-term differentiation and death, instances of phagocytosis in mollusks which are involved in modification of the number of cells with cytogenetic injuries in hemopoietic tissue in tests for micronuclei and chromosome aberrations, and K-metaphase analysis are also considered.
