Aluminium make in electrolytic pots (cells). In process electrolysis the enormous quantity of the electric power - from 14 up to 17 kwh on 1 kg of aluminium is consumed. Approximately half of this energy is spent for thermal losses in an environment. Processes heat transmission render deciding influence on work cell.
In the report application of the simplified mathematical models of heat exchange in ýëåêòðîëèçåðå is considered. Thermal processes proceed with phase transformations - the phase condition is changed with bath and metal. For the description of dynamics of average temperatures of bath and metal are used zero-dimensional models. Streams of heat through borders of researched areas are defined on one-dimensional approximations in view of phase transitions. Management and a choice of optimum technological parameters needs the computer program quickly enough realizing multiple calculations. Therefore the simplified models have been chosen. The developed mathematical models are applied in virtual cell - the computer program simulating work electrolytic pot. Results of calculations coordinated to experimental data.
