Mechanics
The history of occurrence and development of inverse boundary-value problems theory and their applications is stated. Feature of these problems and their basic difference from other inverse problems (inverse problems of the theory of potential, problems with free boundaries, the inverse coefficient problems and others) was opened. On the elementary example the difference from a conditional-correct problem is shown. The special attention is paid to conditions of a physical feasibility of inverse boundary-value problem. Achievements in research of inverse boundary-value problem of the Filtration Theory, in inverse boundary-value problem of Explosion Theory (Lavrentev's model), in inverse boundary-value problem of aerohydrodynamics are presented.
