With the purpose of study the prevalence of arterial hypertension and obesity among the population of northern regions the epidemiological inspection of the village native population of Yakutija, Evenkija and Norilsk is carried out. In the age of 16-59 years 5315 person are inspected (4468 men and 847 women). Screening population with scope more than 75 % is lead.

Methods of research. Epidemiological, questioning, filling of standard questionnaires, anthopometry, measurement of arterial pressure. For arterial hypertension (ÀH) the level of blood pressure ≥140/90 mm hg. The size of an index of weight of the body ≥29,0 was considered as adiposity. For an estimation of distinctions of parameters the prevalence Fisher's criterion was used.

The prevalence of arterial hypertension among men of rural indigenous population increased with the years. In age group of 20-59 years the greatest prevalence ÀH among men is revealed in Evenkija. Prevalence ÀH in Evenkija among men (44,6%) exceeded parameters in Yakutia (14,9%). Among women of native indigenous population in age group of 20-59 years high prevalence ÀH is revealed in Evenkija, and is significant smaller in Yakutia. Feature of prevalence ÀH in Yakutia in younger age group (20-29 years) is low parameters among men and women, as against Evenkija. Among men of rural indigenous population of Yakutia and Evenkija the first cases of obesity are revealed in age group of 20-29 years, but distinctions statistically are not significant. There are no statistically significant distinctions in prevalence of obesity in the senior age groups between men of native indigenous population of Yakutia and Evenkija. Among native women Evenkija in 20-29 years there is a tendency to the greater frequency of obesity, in comparison native women of Yakutia. In 20-59 years parameters of prevalence of obesity among women Evenkija (19,1 %) reach the greatest values, exceeding parameters at inhabitants of Yakutia (8,7 %). Among women of native indigenous population of Yakutia and Evenkija obesity meets more often, than among men. Among alien urban population prevalence ÀH has made 33,2 % which had dependence on age, duration of residing in the North and from a previous residence. The superfluous weight of a body and adiposity among alien the population met more often, than among village native, that it is possible to explain features of a feed. Among radical and alien the population are revealed distinctions in parameters tromboxan and prostacyclin.

Conclusions. The prevalence of arterial hypertension and obesity among population of the North have ethnic and sexual features.
