Ethnic peculiarities of the North native inhabitants health

HEALTH AUTOASSESSMENT OF THE REPRESENTATIVES OF EVENK COMMUNITY VERCHINA KHANDY

The areas of compact living the Evenks at the territory of Irkutsk are characteristic with rigorous climatic conditions and remoteness from the automobile and railway lines. In the community Verchina Khandy (ECVKh) live 42 persons including the children and the teen-agers (up to 18 years old) – 9 persons, adult males – 19, females – 14.

Screening has been performed among the adults including a complex of health autoassessment methods: development risk of the main pathological syndromes (ASKORS), sexual function assessment, psycho-physiological methods. During interviewing it was found that 3 marriages were sterile, the females and the males, however, did not note and sexual disorders, but the males complained of the absence of sexual partners in connection with a low number of the females and almost impassable regions.

An ASCORS has shown the portion of practically healthy persons among the adults made up 38,9±11,5%, however, the healthy women were found to the less than the men (25,0±15,3% vs 50,0±15,8%). The portion of conditionally sick persons amounted 38,9±11,5%. The risk of arterial hypertension (19,5%), border psychical disorders (16,9%), neurological - (12,2%) were offer observed to be in the persons examined. A high risk of ischemic heart disease (12,5%) was noted to be among the males in addition to the disorders above. A high risk a combined has been revealed in 33,3% of the persons examined. Single signs of vegetative nervous system disturbances have been revealed in 28% and the vegetative dystonia syndrome in 28%. According to the automatized assessment results alcohol addiction risk was found to be in 12,5% of the persons, however, 100% of the persons interviewed indicated alcoholism among the diseases in their own anamneses or in the anamneses of their relatives. In addition, tuberculosis and liver pathology were oft observed. The psychological examinations have shown that a low responsive anxiety was characteristic for 66,6±12,1% of the adults, mild and high personal anxieties for 46,7±12,9%. Thereto, the portion of the persons with a high personal anxiety was not significantly differed among the males (42,9%) and the females (50,0%).

Thus, a lower life duration, compared with a regional population, a high prevalence of alcoholism, tuberculosis, liver pathology, board psychological disorders have been revealed among the inhabitants of ECVKh on the background of low reactive anxiety and social activity without age dependence.
