The concept of allergy has no single meaning. It can correspond to both independent nosologic form and a syndrome of the main diseases of non-allergic nature – pseudoallergy. They are different in mechanisms of starting reactions, but they are united by the same clinical signs. The introduced pseudoallergic mechanisms of development are not clear enough but cellular membrane is the most critical. Non-saturated acids are the components of phosphoglycerides, which make cellular membranes. The estimation of lipoid metabolism state within the system «blood plasma - high density lipoproteins – erythrocyte membranes» can dictate some peculiarities of pseudoallergy pathogenesis.
The aim: to examine lipoid metabolism on cellular and molecular levels in pseudoallergy in Evenkia inhabitants.
Materials and methods. By thin layer chromatography with densitymetry we fractionated different phospholipoids, free cholesterol, cholesterol ethers, trialglycerols, free fatty acids, molecular types of cholesterol ethers. We examined adult patients, suffering from pseudoallergy (n=32) and healthy subjects (n=30) of the same age and sex.
Results. In plasma: the processes of cholesterol etherification are decreased; in phospholipoids spectrum we marked the increase of lisophosphatydilcholine, sphingomyelin, the increase of the ratio sphingomyelin / phosphatidylcholine; cholesterol ethers spectrum is destabilised by the lowering of linoleic ethers and the increase of arachidonic ethers. In the structure of high-density lipoproteins is misbalance in lipoid components of nucleus and surface layer with the disturbance in cholesterol-etherifying and cholesterol-accepting functions. In the spectrum of structural lipoids in erythrocyte membranes: the decrease of phospholipoids level; the increase of free cholesterol with the lowering of the ratio phospholipoids / free cholesterol; misbalance in fractional content of phospholipoids – the growth of lisophosphatydilcholine, sphingomyelin; the decrease in the total quantity of easily oxidised fractions; misbalance in cholin-containing phospholipoids with the growth in the ratio sphingomyelin / phosphatidylcholine. We marked the weakening of the mechanism of supporting phosphatidylcholine level on the account of lysoderivative forms and phosphatidylethanolamine methylation. The revealed changes are more evident in the period of acute condition of the disease.
