Ethnic peculiarities of the North native inhabitants health
The aim: to study the prevalence of allergy in Evenkia inhabitants taking into account the main pathogenetic forms.
Materials and methods. We examined alien (male – 1911, female – 1611) and native (male – 594, female – 654) the population of Evenkia, in ages from 15 to 70 years. We used clinical, biochemical, allergological, immunological and instrumental methods of research.
Results. The study showed that allergy diseases are widely spread among alien (25,3%) native (24,7%) population of Evenkia and are marked more often in people, who were born in the North. Evenkia women (alien and native) suffer from allergy 2 times more often than men. In the structure of main allergy pathogenetic forms in alien and native population of Evenkia nearly half of the cases (49% and 51% correspondingly) have nonimmunological mechanisms of development: pseudoallergic (prevalence – 8,0% and 7,6%) and mixed (4,5% and 4,9%). Skin manifestations prevailed and in combination with respiratory syndrome. Urticaria dominates among all the main allergy pathogenetic forms in alien and native population, dermatorespiratory syndrome – among the diseases, having mixed mechanisms of development. As for allergy diseases, rhinosinusites were revealed among aliens 2,2 times more often than in natives. Atopic dermatitis and anaphylactic (anaphylactoid) shock were marked rarely in Evenkia population, in most cases in aliens. Often we marked combinatory signs of allergy, in alien and in native population of Evenkia: bivalent (24,2%; 24,3%; 24,0%) and polivalent (5,5%; 4,9%; 7,2%). Of allergy etiological forms the main are food, medicine, irritant, chemical and cold. Rarer cases are pollen, dust, insect and epidermal allergies in alien and in native population. The influence of complex of factors is very often determined: bivalent (27,4%; 24,9%; 34,4%) and polivalent (19,0%; 18,3%; 20,8%).
So, epidemiological research, carried out by us, showed that allergy frequency is influenced by the increase of the number of nonimmunological forms (pseudoalergy and mixed) of allergy. That is why for true estimation of the prevalence of allergy diseases, it is necessary to take into account the main pathogenetic mechanisms of allergy development, to carry out differentiated diagnosis of true allergy and pseudoallergy.
