Ecology and adaptation (medical ecology)

THE ROLE OF OXYGEN PROVIDING OF ORGANISM IN CHILD ADAPTATION ON THE NORTH AND IN SIBERIA

Mikhajlova L.A.

Krasnoyarsk State Medical Academy (Krasnoyarsk)

Long-term, gradually development and reliable adaptation is the necessary supposition for widening person activity in unusual environment.

More than 1000 children (10-12 years old) were examined, immigrants and the indigenous population, living on Taimyr Peninsula (Norilsk city, Hatanga) and in Eastern Siberia (Krasnoyarsk). The research of external respiration system, circulation of the blood system, red blood system research, with the help of polygraph, mechanocardiograph, electrocardiograph, oxyhemograph was done. There was revealed, that in removal conditions, the external respiration system feels "overload" which are showed by moderate hyperventilation, acceleration and intensification of respiration. The strengthening of oxygen transportation from alveoluses to tissues is the main adaptive reaction. Firstly - rapid pulse. The minute volume of blood circulation of northerners exceeds the level of control group on 11,2-27,4 %. It is evidence of strengthening of heart activity connected with oxygen delivery to tissue. The erytron system has thicker and more effective physiological and biomechanical mechanisms of respiratory blood function regulation. The change of oxygen-connected blood function, demonstrated increased ability of blood, concerning oxygen giving in partial pressure in tissue. It is made conditional upon increase of 2,3 – DPG concentration in erythrocytes and quality composition of hemoglobin. These deviations is within the limits of physiological norms of reactions. The greatest deviations of functional condition of child organism on the North were noted among immigrants during first 3-5 years of living in extreme conditions. The reasonable additional effects on organism in this group of children result in change of oxygen providing level and tension of system taking part in this process, it leads to adaptation failure. The nature of adaptive reactions from the direction of system, providing organism by oxygen in immigrated children and the indigenous population has equal direction. The involvement range of pointed systems in oxygen providing process in specific living conditions is different.

The analysis of date, with the help of different mathematical methods, allows to speak about continuity of adaptation process to new living conditions. At the same time, plasticity of system, caused by unreliability of elements, is coordinated by autoregulation properties. Adapted and individual differs in actuating mechanism reactions of functional system of transport and use of oxygen in different conditions, both in healthy state and in adaptation process to different ecological conditions, are the demonstrations of plasticity of main system activity in organism.
