The reliable displacement of the morbidity and mortality indices (especially from the cardiovascular pathology) increase among the young and average aged Northern inhabitants, and also known data about the connection of contemporary person’s aging with cardiovascular pathology development (Chebotarev D.F. and, etc., 1982), makes possible to speak about the acceleration of aging processes in Northern migrant population. Lots of specialists connected the accelerated cardiovascular pathology and premature aging development with the sclerosis processes activation. All this determined the purpose of our studies - special features of human aging in the North according to the sclerogenesis intensity with the development of cardiovascular pathology, with the indices of the hydroxiprolinum (HOP) urinal excretion and glycosaminoglycanes (GAG) content in blood serum.

It seemed that even in healthy northerners the HOP urinal excretion (42,5±1,8 mg/day) was reliably higher than the excretion level in healthy inhabitants from average latitudes (26,3±2,6 mg/day). In this case, the level of HOP urinal excretion in the North increased with the length of northern period.

Even the more HOP excretion level significant differences in the North different from average latitudes we noted among persons suffered from cardiac ischemia. Thus, the HOP excretion level in artery heart disease in Novosibirsk was 43,7±1,3 mg/day, in the North was 88,4±4,6 mg/day. At the same time in strain stenocardia cases the level of HOP excretion reached the value 77,3±3,4 mg/day, in the rest stenocardia 93,4±3,5 mg/day, while in postmyocardial infarction cardiosclerosis - 114,2±7,7 mg/day. Ultrasonic inspection in the North’ migrants men revealed that in the age of 30 - 39 years most of them already has sclerosis changes of the aorta, atherosclerosis of the mitral valve folds and coronary arteries sclerosis changes.

Studies showed that the intensity of HOP excretion was in a high dependence degree with the oxidizing stress manifestation, and stress hormones increase. The high concentration of atherogenic lipids in blood played the leading role in HOP excretion intensity in high latitude environment (low and very low density lipoproteins, cholesterol and triglycerides).

Special attention deserve data about the influence of the microelementary surplus on sclerogenesis among migrants in the North, connected with its higher content in the environment. Especially copper, since it participates in the sclerous tissue proteins (collagen and elastin) structure formation, which are the structural components of bone and cartilaginous tissue, skin, lungs and blood vessels walls.

We did not succeed the significant influence of this microelement itself in determining content of GAG with the different concentrations in blood. However, in group of persons with the high copper content in blood serum was almost two times more number of people with arterial hypertension, than in the group of persons with the low content of copper.

The results of studies make possible to conclude that cardiovascular pathology and premature aging early development in the North inhabitants considerably extent connected with the sclerogenesis intensity action of the ecologically caused northern stress metabolic and endocrine manifestations.
