For the last 10-15 years the epidemic situation with tuberculosis (TB) became quite acute both.in the Russia, and in the world. Novosibirsk TB Research Institute is a center of pursuance and coordination of scientific investigations and providing of antituberculosis cure in Siberian and Far East federal regions. These territories are represented by North of Asia and have pronounced climatic, geographical, demographic and social-economical peculiarities. General TB morbidity rates in the Northern territories vary from 60 (per 100 thousand inhabitants) in Chukotka autonomous region to 350 in Koryak autonomous region.
