Population satisfaction of medical help organization in the siberian northern regions

Development of the northern-eastern regions of Russia, it’s territorial-industrial complexes is caused by necessity to preserve and development of population vital potential. Beyond the polar circle there is a large city Norilsk, where 234 000 of persons are living. Medical help to population is rendered by city hospitals and ambulance-policlinic institutions.

The Mirninsky region is one of the biggest territorial region of Republic SAKHA (Yakutia) with 88 600 persons of population and numerous cities. The main institution of health care of the Mirninsky region is a central regional hospital, rendering skilled specialized help to inhabitants of all settlements, locating at distance in the range of 35-540 km.

In Megion, a city of the Khanty-Mansiisky area, population composed 50 000 persons. Among them there are a lot of shift-workers. City hospitals and ambulance-policlinic institutions rendered help to all population.

It is stated that a high level of satisfaction by medical help is in Norilsk (88,7-98,9%). In Megion and the Mirninsky region the degree of satisfaction is lower (24-68,1%). The lowest degree of satisfaction was observed in the Mirninsky central regional hospital (22,3-32,9%).

Thus, formation of territories defines the features of rendering medical help, it’s availability and quality, that reflects in population satisfaction by medical services and quality of life.
