Preamble: In severe climat conditions of Siberia it seem that there is a small number of people live till 90 years old. There are no such data in official demography.

Purpose: To study the prevalence of longevity in Siberia, especially among aboriginal population.

Methods: From the primary materials of census of enumeration, has been done extracts about individuals 90 years old and older.

Results: Absolute number of long-livers in Russia in 1995 was 294 thousands of people, from then there were 35 thousands in the West Siberia,23 thousands in the East Siberia and 5.5 thousands in the Far East. Longevity index (the ratio of number of long-livers to 1000 people older 60) in Russia was 11,9; 10,4 – in Siberia (10,5 in the West Siberia and 10,3 in the East Siberia); 7,5 – in the Far East. Thus, the relative ratio of longevity in Siberia are lower than that in Russia. Women has higher longevity indexes than men in all regions. Among aboriginal population of Siberia absolute number of long-livers is 1200 people. Among some small nationalities (ukagiri, udegeizi etc.) no people older 90 were registered. But among some nationalities (yakuti, kety, orochi, khakasy) there were higher longevity indexes than Russian. Thus, among Siberian aboriginal population longevity indexes are heterogeneous.
