Psychosomatic aspects of ethnopsychology and ethnopsychiatry

Perspectives of development of Russian superethnos are mainly depended on emergent activity resolution in overcoming the ethiodemographic “crises” in some regions of the country. In depths of the Russian people the highest culture, genetically transmitted spirituality, colossal resources of life support, humanism, education and the foremost – strive toward renascence of intellectual and moral potential of the nation. Purposeful organizing at state level efforts in search and selection of alternatives of the current situation with mass alcoholisation, increase of delinquent, deviant, antipublic forms of behavior and other kinds of autodistruction with accumulation in the population of comorbid mental and somatic disorders. Differentiation of psychiatry into different branches is inevitable including psychosomatic direction having various meanings, volume, methodic approaches, theoretic and practical guiding lines. Multi-axial approach envisages an extra-nosological, epidemiological, ethiopathogenetic, ecological, ethnocultural, and evolutionary aspects of studied phenomena. Transcultural psychology and psychiatry must differ by humanistic trend, integrative acceptance of ontogenetic peculiarities of formation of a person within n various cultures, region, traditions and customs. Development of transcultural aspects of psychiatry should be conducted with account for biopsychosocial paradigm envisaging sociotherapeutic and preventive approaches.
