RESULTS OF INSPECTION OF WORKERS OF THE DIAMOND-MINING INDUSTRY OF YAKUTIA

By employees Novosibirsk scientific research institute of hygiene in 2005 it has been surveyed about 500 workers of company " ÀLROSÀ " in Mirnyi and Àihal (Saha, Yakutia). The state of health 392 person, harmful factors of the industrial environment was exposed to influence (noise, dust loadings, vibration, a physical overstrain (overvoltage)) and in the majority having the experience of work in underground conditions is analysed. The attention that fact pays to itself, that persons with big experience of work before it is long worked in other regions (Donbass, Kuzbass). Persons in the age of from 20 till 60 years are surveyed, of them 30 person have made women. Persons in the age of 25-50 years there were 83 %. Worked in harmful working conditions more than 10 years - about 46 %, more than 20 years - about 16 %, on the average the professional experience has made 11 years. Practically healthy have made 31 %. Persons with a vascular dystonia have made 9,5 %; the arterial hypertension is fixed at 13,5 % the person, diseases of digestive system at 9 %, a pathology cervical and (or) lumbar parts of a backbone at 38 %.

The group of risk with attributes of influence of noise on an ear included 4 % the person, neuritis of an acoustical nerve is fixed at 3 % (at the average experience of work in harmful conditions of 11 years). The suspicion on neuritis of an acoustical nerve of professional character is stated at 1,8 % of persons (at the average experience of 18 years). In group of risk on development of vibrating illness from influence of local vibration has come 5,1 % the person (at the average experience of work of 11 years), the suspicion on vibrating illness is stated at 4,6 persons (at the average experience of work 21 year). The group of risk on development ïíåâìîêîíèîçà included 5 % surveyed (at the average experience of work 22 years). The suspicion on pneumoconiosis is stated at 2,3 % of persons (at the average experience of work of 25 years), and suspicion on a professional dust bronchitis at 2,6 % (at the average experience of work in harmful conditions of 19 years).

Results of inspection allow to speak that suspicions on occupational diseases have arisen at the persons who have arrived for work from other regions and before harmful influence harmful and dangerous factors was exposed to influence of the industrial environment (especially clearly it is shown at previous dust loadings). The major methods of preventive maintenance of occupational diseases should become qualitative carrying out of preliminary and periodic medical surveys, employment under the contract.
