The inverse problem of wave propagation for the system of datum, gathered on the sur-face of observation with multiple coverage of the sources and the receivers is examined. It is shown that this system redundancy of data is equivalent to the previously studied configuration, in which the point of receiver coincides with the point of the source: in both cases the continuation of wave field in the reverse time reduces the scattering problem, considered in the linearized approach, to the Cauchy problem (to task with the instantly acting second sources of the fields, whose role they play the desired heteroge-neities) in the reference medium with the "half–value" of wave velocity.
