The report covers the experience of generating information resources of different kind in the library of the Institute of Computational Modeling SB RAS. It describes the peculiarities of creation of electronic catalogues on off-centre data carriers (such as databases on CD, audio and video editions), bibliography databases, containing links to full-text documents, and databases, containing descriptions of arbitrary museum exhibits. Some of the revealed problems and possible ways of solution are covered.
