We consider materials consisting of an aggregate of different interacting media known as block structures. The media can be deformable materials with various physicomathematical proprieties that react to the action of physical fields. We developed the methods to research and solve boundary-value problems of such materials based on topological algebra and factorization methods. These methods differ from the traditional approaches due to the fact that they are developed for the spaces with tempered generalized functions. For example, boundary conditions in the factorization method cannot be satisfied within the classical approach by introducing limit values solutions and their derivatives on the domain boundary into the given boundary conditions. It is so due to the fact that derivatives from solutions of the boundary-value problem on the boundary developed by the factorization method have ideal functions – δ-functions and their derivatives, along with classical ones. The explanation of their origin is given in detail and they do not affect the solution of boundary-value problems. We also suggest ways of treating such difficulties when applying factorization methods and show how classical solutions for block structures are developed.
