The high costs of development, acquisition and implementation of information technology (IT) in combination with the rapid expansion of areas and the extent of their use in the library defines the high urgency of the tasks evaluating the effectiveness of information technology, the need to examine and analyze the set taking place today, are often not abutting each other, fundamentally differ essentially methodological studies and technical solutions, approaches and methods to assess the effectiveness of IT investments.
