Electronic collections are gradually becoming an ordinary component of libraries' stocks of different levels. But their creation and development bring about new and transform traditional problems that librarians are to solve when starting the process:technological, organizational, criterial,juridical, etc.Therefore the primary taks for specialists engaged in processes of forming and using depository stocks of SPSL SB RAS have become those of working out the structure of valuable editions' electronic copies' sub-collection,formulating the criteria of document selection, solving the juridical questions of giving access to the collections being created.
