The electronic mathematical reference system (EMRS) "Differential equations" (http: // www.neva.ru/journal/dbdiff), representing a gang of Web-pages is considered, among which the information pages circumscribing the concrete differential equations, their quotients and general solutions are selected immediately; style pages assigning parameters of windows, frameworks etc., and also page reflecting a structure of a manual, with appropriate hypertext by handling. EMRS supplied with alternate special searching systems.

The organisation of a searching part EMRS is considered, in which the following requirements were taken into account: a simplicity of a gang of mathematical numerals; support of a "intellectual" level of searching; observance of structural principles; provision of use of templates (masks) at input of the equations. At this approach, the user can note the equation, using the various letters of the latin alphabet for a label of variables, and not just that, which were used by the developers of a system. The searching is possible for a message immediately on a structure of the equation, that ensures a detection of the necessary equation even at a replacement of all labels of variables on other. Such searching system gives a valid information and at inversion left and right members of the equation. The application of possibilities of masks in searching is equivalent to a choice of files on a mask.

Analysing some modes of organisation of such searching systems for computer manuals under the differential equations (for example, with use HTML, JavaScript, CGI, with application of the user program working on the server, with use applet on the Java language), were selected JavaScript, as the universal searching tool (afterwards it easily managed to be adapted and for other searching tasks), and Java-applet, which noticeably increases a velocity of fulfilment, does not limit complexities of executed algorithm, can independent accept an information from the user.

The "intellectual" searching easily is carried out at use of a format TEX and choice of high-power algorithm of a comparison, which supports templates and "understands" some delicacies in the representation of equations. The visualisation of input allows the user as though to construct the equation, selecting various representations from some gang.
