The equations of the theory of filtration as well as the hydraulic equations for the motion of a weighty, real gas in a tube of variable cross-section have been derived on the basis of the fundamental laws of conservation. The conjugate problem of heat exchange between a gas in a well and the surrounding medium comprises solution of the differential equations describing the motion of gas in a well, complemented by the equation of propagation of heat in rocks and the conditions of compatibility at the well surface. The complex of programs for the solution of a wide circle of problems which arise during production and transport of gas has been created . Its potential has been demonstrated by means of simulation of the applied problems.
