Approximation of quantum propagator in time-dependent problems

Morokov Y.N.

The Feynman's approximation at small time intervals for the quantum propagator of time-dependent quantum system is not uniquely possible. The condition of the approximation of the Schrodinger equation leaves a large arbitrariness in selection of the weight coefficients for different space points. In particular, it is possible to choose them as a set of delta-functions that corresponds to the difference approximation of the Schrodinger equation. It's possible to use this arbitrariness to increase the efficiency of algorithms of the Quantum Monte Carlo method and to raise a question on local behavior of the real trajectories of quantum particles.
