Research was carried out with use of transparent two-dimensional micromodel of porous structure. The process of foam formation, velocity and a form of a displacement front, hydrodynamic resistance of a model with foam, foam quality and foam evolution at the flow in porous structure at a given pressure difference were studied. The following was established:
      1) Foam is formed due to viscous instability at displacement of solution by gas;
      2) Foam within porous structure has rheopexy property;
      3) Instability of foam flow takes place at some pressure difference;
      4) There is the critical pressure difference for the displacement of foam by water.
