Modelling of motion of granular medium with high concentration in vertical canals

The method of the calculation of the gravity motion the highconsentry granular medium in vertical canals of different forms is suggested in the work. As the model of the granular medium the model of a non-lean viscous fluid is use. The peculiarity of the motion of the granular medium is a more exact setting of the border-line terms allowing to take into account the sliding of particles on solid surfaces by means of introduction of the empirical factor when defining the whirl on a wall. The analysis of the numerical and experimental data comparison demonstrates that the consideration of the medium’s “sliding” effect on the border enables us to describe the flow of the granular medium, the rheological parameters of the model being close to those of the Newton’s liquid model.
