The numerical investigation of "vapour explosion" on the base of microinteraction model was carried out. The experiment KROTOS - 42 in the Krotos facility for aluminium oxide was modeled. The qualitative agreement of the experimental curves and calculation results is obtained but quantitative agreement is not satiafctory. There was also made the comparison of calculation results with that of the other authors.
