Numerical modeling of heat and mass exchange between hollows in a lake

A 3D numerical model of hydrodynamics is used for simulation of currents, heat and salt exchange in a lake. The lake consisits of two basins connected by narrow and relatively shallow channel. The goal is in estimation of heat and mass transfer between the hollows. In particular, among other factors, the role of internal seiche pumping is studied.
