The influence of orographically induced peculiar properties of territory on the fog distribution

Kwon E.V.

Institute of Computational Technologies SB RAS (Novosibirsk)

The fog distribution from the cooling pond surface is forecasted by the three-dimensional model composed of equations of the momentum, conservation of mass and transport equations of heat and moisture. The e-epsilon model of turbulence describe the turbulent exchange. The flows of the heat and the moisture from a surface of a reservoir are governed under formulas considering influence of free and forced convections. It is a continuation of [1]. A forming and distribution of the fog depend upon a reservoir site and orography are numerically studied.
