St.Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of RAS (St.Petersburg)

Our work and communication are not restricted to Russian and English only. Both at conferences (incl. scientific ones) and on web-sites other languages, partially or completely different from Russian and English, are used, as well as special notation. In the paper types of multilanguage typesetting are discussed, main problems are shown and some ways of their solution are proposed. Special attention is paid to plan languages, i.e. artificial international languages, intended to improve communication of people of different languages and cultures, give possibility of exact monosemantic representation, simplify languages' study and translation between them, including automatic one, provide possibility of language development according to requirements of speakers; typical representative of such languages is Esperanto.
