      2010 Project (NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION)
The aim of the 2010 project is to support research to determine the function of all genes in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana by the year 2010. Individual investigators or groups of investigators will be supported to conduct creative and innovative research designed to determine, using all available means, the function of a network of genes of the investigator’s interest and choice. Also supported will be development of critical research tools for Arabidopsis functional genomics that enable a broad community of scientists to participate in the 2010 Project.

A Database of Plant Cis-acting Regulatory DNA Elements
PLACE is a database of motifs found in plant cis-acting regulatory DNA elements, all from previously published reports. It covers vascular plants only. In addition to the motifs originally reported, their variations in other genes or in other plant species reported later are also compiled. The PLACE database also contains a brief description of each motif and relevant literature with PubMed ID numbers. DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank nucleotide sequence databases accession numbers will be also included.
A Global Programme for Musa Improvement (INIBAP)
PROMUSA was established in 1997 to foster international cooperation and to facilitate the creation of synergies between ongoing research efforts.
A la découverte du génome végétal (INRA)
General site about plant genomics: This file, realised by the INRA (Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique) on the occasion of the 2001 Agricultural Show, is intended to give a progress report on all the research currently undertaken on plant genomes. Without bias, it explores all the questions that each one can be brought to ask: what is genomics? What is it for? How can it contribute to plant breeding? What are the main research axis for genomics?... The whole with a pedagogic and general information purpose.
