The finite-amplitude spatial distributions of the advective flow in rotating horizontal liquid layer

Schwarz K.G.

Perm State University (Perm)

With the help of net method the non-linear problem of spatial distributions behavior of advective flow in rotating horizontal liquid layer is investigated. The advective flow is induced by longitudinal temperature gradient. The liquid layer rotates around vertical axis. The format of distributions are studied depending on Taylor number for fix Prandtle Pr=6.7 (water) and for greater then critical values of Grashof number. They are the system of spiral vortices which rotate along boundaries in the instability temperature stratification places. The square root dependence of velocity distribution amplitude for a small supercriticality is received.
